Aishwarya Roadlines

Our office is at D 83 in the Devaraj Truck Terminal. This is in the 2nd stage of the Yeshwantpur industrial suburb. We are situated right opposite Kanteerva Studio. Our work is in roadlines, which basically means we manage trucks and move goods across the country. The truck terminal is a very hectic place to be. There is constantly the smell of diesel in the air and the sound of heavy machinery. We spend most of our time coordinating with drivers and making sure the loads are ready to go. The office is just a simple room with some old furniture and lots of files. We have been in this industry for a long time and we know the terminal like the back of our hands. It is a tough way to make a living because you are always dealing with traffic jams and vehicle breakdowns. We do not have any shiny brochures or a marketing team. Most people find us because they have seen our trucks or they have worked with us before. We just try to stay on top of the schedules and keep things moving. It is a gritty, everyday kind of business. We do not try to make it sound like more than it is. It is just about hauling goods from point A to point B and making sure the paperwork is done correctly at the end of the day.
