We are Ahmed Furniture and you can find us at number 29 in Shivaji Nagar. We are located right on the 1st Cross, 1st Main Road. If you know where the Eidgah Complex is, we are right there, specifically above the Amanath Bank. It’s a busy area and there’s always something going on downstairs near the bank. We’ve been making and selling furniture from this spot for quite some time now. The stairs up to the shop are a bit narrow, so moving big wardrobes or dining tables can be a real chore for us, but we manage it somehow. We have all sorts of wooden items and chairs scattered around the floor. It’s not a fancy showroom with perfect lighting; it’s more of a working shop where you can see the stuff as it really is. We deal with a lot of locals from the Shivaji Nagar neighborhood. People come in looking for something sturdy and simple for their homes. We don't do those fancy sales pitches or try to pressure anyone. We just show what we have in stock or talk about what can be made if they have something specific in mind. The noise from the street comes in through the windows all day, but that’s just life in this part of town. We keep the shop open pretty late most days because that's when people are off work and can finally come by to look at beds or tables. It’s just me and a few others helping out here.
