Agree Marathi Steel

The shop sits on Kengere Main Road, not too far from the Kaveri Gramina Bank. We have been at this spot, 41-9-27, for quite a while now. Most days start the same way with the heavy shutters going up and the sound of traffic already starting to build. It’s a busy road so there is always noise from trucks and cars passing by. We deal mostly in steel, the kind people need for building houses or small structures around the neighborhood. There are long rods and thick plates leaning against the back walls. It gets a bit dusty inside because of the open front, but that is just how it is when you are working with metal all day. We don't have a fancy showroom. It is just a workspace with a small desk and a few chairs for when someone needs to talk about an order. Sometimes the bank next door gets really crowded and people try to park their bikes right in front of our entrance. We have to ask them to move so we can load the trucks. The sun hits the front of the shop in the afternoon, making it pretty warm inside, so we keep a fan running near the counter. It is a simple operation. We just get the steel out to whoever needs it and keep the inventory sorted so we don't lose track of what is in the pile. There is a small tea stall just around the corner where we get our morning chai. The concrete floor has some marks from where the metal gets dragged across it.
