We started Adventure Recruitment right here in Bangalore at No 7, 1st Cross. It’s a simple setup, nothing too flashy. We spend most of our time looking at resumes and talking to people who are looking for a new start. Finding a job is stressful, so we try to keep the atmosphere here pretty relaxed. We aren't the type to sit behind big mahogany desks and act like we know everything. We just know the local job market pretty well since we've been here in Karnataka for a long time. People come in, we have a chat about what they can do, and we see if any of our contacts are hiring. It’s a lot of phone calls and emails, honestly. The 560047 area is where we spend our days. Sometimes the rain here makes the commute a bit of a mess, but the office is a dry spot to sit down and figure out your next career move. We don’t make big promises about dream jobs or anything like that, because life isn't a movie. We just try to find a decent fit for people so they can pay their bills and move forward. It’s honest work and we like seeing someone get a call back after they’ve been searching for a while. That’s why we do this. We keep the files organized and the coffee hot, and we just wait to see who walks in next with a story to tell.
