Adobe Metal Products

Our shop is located at 407 and 408 in Sunkadakatte, out towards the Dholka area. We make metal products here. It’s a loud place, to be honest. There is always the sound of cutting or welding going on. We’ve got two units side by side to fit all the materials and the heavy machinery we need. The floor is concrete and usually covered in metal shavings by the end of the shift. We aren't a high-tech factory. Most of what we do is manual work and using older machines that we know how to fix ourselves. Sunkadakatte is an industrial patch, so we fit right in with the other workshops. It’s hot in the summer and the metal gets tricky to handle, but we’ve been at it long enough to not mind much. We don't have a showroom. If you want to see what we make, you just walk into the back where the work is happening. We deal with all kinds of metal pieces, some big and some small. We just take the orders and start cutting. Sometimes we get a big load of steel delivered and it takes up all the space for a few days. It’s a bit cramped but we make it work. We aren't polished or corporate. We just wear our work clothes and get through the pile of orders on the desk. It’s practical work for practical people, and we just keep the machines running every day.
