Adarsha Condiments

Our place, Adarsha Condiments, is located in Thavarakere at S N Tiwari Chawl 108/1. It’s a very small shop, honestly. We have shelves packed with jars and bags of different spices and mixes. The space is tight, so we’re always bumping into each other when we’re trying to fill orders. S N Tiwari Chawl is a lively place with a lot of families living nearby. You can hear people talking and kids playing right outside the door. We don't have a big budget for decorations or anything. The counter is just an old piece of wood we’ve polished over the years. We spend a lot of time weighing things out on a small digital scale that sometimes acts up. Thavarakere gets quite dusty, so we are constantly wiping down the jars at 108/1. It’s a simple life. We open up in the morning, set out a few things on the front ledge, and wait for customers. Most people come in for small amounts of stuff, just enough for dinner. We don't use fancy bags, just plain ones that we tie with string or staple shut. It’s not the kind of place you see in a magazine. It’s just a local condiment shop. The light in the back is a bit dim, but we know where every single item is kept. It’s just how we run things here. We just try to keep the jars full and the floor swept.
