We spend most of our days over here on Promenade Road, right across from Santosh Hospital. If you know Frazer Town, you know how busy it gets around Coles Park, but we’ve managed to stay put at 51/1 for quite some time now. Our work splits between trading different materials and the construction side of things. It’s not always easy keeping track of every brick and bag of cement, but that is basically what we do from Monday to Saturday. Usually, you’ll find one of us drinking tea near the entrance or talking to a contractor about a site plan. We aren’t a massive firm with hundreds of offices, just a local team trying to get the job done right. Construction involves a lot of dust and waiting for trucks to arrive at the right time. Trading is more about the phones ringing and making sure the supplies actually get where they are supposed to go. People in the neighborhood know where to find us if they have a question about a project. We don’t have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. Just a desk, some chairs, and a lot of blueprints lying around. It gets a bit loud with the hospital traffic nearby, but it’s home for the business. We focus on the daily tasks and making sure the building work stays on schedule as much as the weather allows. It's a bit of a grind sometimes, but we like seeing the buildings go up.
