Active Spring Industries

Active Spring Industries is located at 48/1 on S V Road in Sunkadakatte. We specialize in making springs of all kinds, and we’ve been at this location for quite a while. The shop is right on the main S V Road, so there is always a lot of activity outside with buses and commuters. Inside, we have our machines set up for coiling and cutting wire. It’s a technical process, but the environment is very much a local workshop style. There are coils of wire stacked up against the walls and the smell of machine oil is everywhere. We don't have a big corporate team; it’s just a group of us who know how to run the equipment properly. The sentence lengths here are a bit varied because sometimes we are busy and other times we are just waiting for the next order to come in. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that. If someone needs a spring, they usually just walk in with a sample or a drawing, and we see what we can do. The building is a bit older, and the roof rattles a little when the big trucks go by on the road outside. We just keep our heads down and focus on the machines. It’s steady work and we like the routine of it. We aren't trying to be the biggest factory in the world, just a reliable shop in Sunkadakatte.
