Accu Fab

Accu Fab is over in JP Nagar on Bannerighatta Road, at 194. It is a busy stretch of road and the noise of the traffic is something you just get used to after a week of working here. The building isn't very new, but it houses all the machinery we need for our fabrication jobs. We have a couple of big machines that take up most of the floor space, and they make a steady humming sound all day long. The floor is usually covered in little curls of metal shavings. We have to sweep every couple of hours just to keep from slipping. It’s not a corporate office with carpets and glass walls. Instead, it’s a place where we get our hands dirty and wear earplugs to protect ourselves from the noise. The desk in the corner is where we keep the blueprints and the old computer that we use for the logs. Sometimes the neighborhood kids stop by the door to see the machines running. We try to keep things organized, but when we have a big project going on, tools end up scattered all over the place. It’s a practical workspace and we don't spend money on decorations or fancy furniture. We just focus on making sure the parts we finish are the right size and that the machines keep running without breaking down.
