Abhishek Steel Centre

Abhishek Steel Centre is situated at 1277/1 in the Vijaya Nagar GIDC Estate. Being located in an industrial area means there is constant noise from metal clanging and heavy trucks moving through the lanes. We keep stacks of steel rods, pipes, and flat sheets all over the place. It is a dusty environment and the air feels heavy, but that is just the nature of working with steel. We spend most of our daylight hours measuring pieces and cutting them down to the sizes that people need. Sometimes we are preparing a big order for a building site and other times someone just needs a single piece of angle iron for a home repair. The machinery we use is old and loud but it still cuts straight. We do not have a polished office for meetings. It is just a small desk in the corner with some old calendars on the wall. We have been here in Vijaya Nagar for a long time and we have seen many other businesses come and go. The work is physically demanding and we are usually pretty tired by the time we lock up for the night. We drink a lot of water because the tin roof makes it very hot inside during the summer months. We do not do any fancy marketing because the people in the estate already know we are here. If you need some steel for a project, you just come by and tell us.
