Abb Industrial It Development Centre

Our place is located over on Race Course Road, specifically near High Tension Road in the Subhanpura area of Vadodara. It’s a busy intersection, so there is always a lot of movement outside our windows. The building itself is pretty plain, just a concrete structure that keeps us dry and cool enough to work. We spend a lot of time looking at screens and talking about technical things. It is what we do here at the development centre. We have some old computers that we keep around for parts and some newer ones that actually work. The break room is just a corner with a kettle and some biscuits. We usually end up eating lunch at our desks anyway because we get caught up in whatever we are doing. The air conditioner makes a bit of a rattling sound, but we have learned to ignore it. Sometimes we go for a walk down High Tension Road when we need a break from the screens. Vadodara is a good city, not too fast but not too slow either. We have a routine that we follow every day. We come in, check the logs, and start working on the projects. It isn't a flashy life, but it keeps us busy. We are just a group of people trying to make things work correctly from our spot in Subhanpura. We aren't special, just workers.
