Ababeel Foods India is situated at 79 Sadar Patrappa Road, which is right in the middle of the busy Dodpete and Nagarathpete area. If you know this part of the city, you know how narrow the streets are and how many people are always walking around. It is a very lively place to have a business. We handle different kinds of food products from this small office and warehouse. It gets very loud outside with all the carts and scooters, but we have gotten used to the noise over the years. We spend our days coordinating with suppliers and making sure the orders go out to the shops that buy from us. Space is a bit tight here because the building is old, so we have to be very organized with how we stack our boxes. Sometimes we have to move everything out just to reach one thing at the back. It’s a lot of manual labor and sweat. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of employees. It is just a few of us trying to make a living in the city. We drink a lot of coffee from the stall down the street to keep us going during the long afternoons. We don't have a mission statement or anything like that. We just want to do our jobs well and go home to our families at the end of the day.
