We are located at number 74 on Nr Road. If you know the area, you know it is one of the busiest streets for hardware and building materials. Our shop is packed with different types of roofing sheets and steel sections. It’s hard to keep things tidy when you have so much heavy inventory moving in and out every day. The noise from the street is constant—trucks, bikes, and people shouting to be heard. We’ve been on Nr Road for quite some time and we’ve seen shops come and go. We stay busy because people always need something for their roofs or a bit of steel for a repair. We don't have a website or anything like that; we just open the shutters in the morning and wait for customers to stop by. Sometimes it’s a contractor looking for a large order, and other times it’s just someone needing a couple of sheets for a shed. We help them load their vehicles and move on to the next task. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings and dust, but we try to sweep up when we can. It’s a tough, physical job, but it’s what we know. We don’t talk much unless it’s about the work at hand. We just show the different thicknesses of the sheets and let the material speak for itself. It’s a basic shop for basic needs, and we like the directness of it all. There is no point in complicating things when people just want a good roof.
