A J Steel

Our shop, A J Steel, sits right at 1 Kalasipalyam on B Osman Khan Road. It’s a dusty place because of all the metal we move around. We deal with various steel items, mostly for construction or small local projects. You'll usually hear the sound of metal clanging before you even see the door. It’s not a quiet office environment at all. We spend our days measuring out rods or checking the inventory in the back. The area is always crowded with people and carts, so it’s a lively spot to work. Sometimes the dust gets everywhere, but that’s just part of working with steel. We’ve been here long enough that most of the neighbors know us by name. We don't have any flashy brochures or a big sales team. It’s usually just one or two of us handling the orders and making sure the loading goes okay. There are days when the stock arrives late and we have to scramble, but we get by. It’s a practical business for people who need materials without any fuss. The building itself is old, but it serves us well for what we do. We just focus on getting the steel out the door to whoever needs it for their build. Sometimes we have to help the loaders when it’s really busy, so our clothes stay pretty dirty most of the week.
