A C E Furniture

Our shop, A C E Furniture, is over on S V Road in Sampangiram Nagar. It’s at number 43. We sell all kinds of things for the house—tables, chairs, cupboards, that sort of thing. Some of it we get from other places and some we put together ourselves. The shop is often a bit crowded because we try to fit as much as we can on the floor so people can see what they’re getting. It’s dusty work keeping everything clean, especially with the road right outside. People walk in and sit on the sofas to see if they’re comfortable. We’ve had this place for a few years now. It’s a local business through and through. We don't do those big fancy sales you see on TV. We just tell people the price and if they like it, they buy it. Sometimes we help with delivery if the customer lives nearby. My brother helps me move the heavier pieces of wood and furniture when things get busy. We’ve seen a lot of neighbors come and go. S V Road is always noisy with cars and bikes. We stay open until the evening. It’s not a huge showroom, just a simple place where you can find something useful for your home without a lot of trouble. We try to keep the windows clean, but the dust from the street makes it hard. Sometimes we just sit on the chairs out front and watch people go by. It’s a good way to spend a quiet afternoon.
