7 Sevents

Our workspace is at Arjun Auva Apartments, number 110 in Basavanagar on the Hosur Main Road. Being near the Nijarga Bank Colony makes it easy for us to get around, though the main road traffic is always a challenge. 7 Sevents is the name we use for our event work. We aren't the type of people who sit in an office all day wearing suits. Most of the time, we’re out on-site wearing dusty clothes and moving heavy crates. We handle a lot of the logistical side of things, like setting up chairs, arranging the stages, and making sure the lighting works. It’s physical labor and it can be quite tiring. We don't have a big glossy website or a team of sales people. Most of our jobs come from people who saw us working at a neighbor's party or a local shop opening. We keep our gear in a storage space near the apartments. It’s a lot of loading and unloading trucks at strange hours. Sometimes we are working in the pouring rain to get a tent up, but we just get on with it. We don't have a mission statement or any fancy goals. We just want to get the setup done right so the event can happen without any trouble. It’s a straightforward business run by a few guys who aren't afraid of hard work. We usually stay until the very end to pack everything back into the trucks.
