3 Cs Steel Manufacturers

Our manufacturing unit is at 58/48 on SH 30 in Kamalanagar. It is right on the state highway, so we get a lot of trucks coming and going at all hours of the day and night. The place is basically a big industrial shed where we do all the steel work. It gets incredibly hot in there when the machines are running, but that is just part of the job when you work with metal. We have a small crew of workers who know exactly what they are doing with the raw materials and the cutters. There is always the sound of grinding or metal hitting metal echoing through the space, making it hard to hear anything else. We are not trying to be fancy or modern; we just focus on making the steel products that our customers ask for. The yard is usually full of scrap pieces and finished products waiting to be loaded up for transport. It is a bit messy, but we know where everything is kept. Being in Kamalanagar, we are away from the main city center, which is good because of the noise we make. Most of the day is spent checking the quality of the output and talking to the drivers who are passing through. We eat our lunch together in a small shaded area away from the heat of the machines. It is hard, physical labor and by the end of the shift, everyone is tired. We just keep the production going.
