20:20 Media

We are based at 658, 10th Cross, which is just West of Chord Road in Mahalaxmipuram. It is the 2nd Stage area of Bangalore, and if you know this neighborhood, you know it has its own rhythm. 20:20 Media has been around for quite a bit. We don't spend money on fancy signs or anything like that. The office is just a place where we get the work done. Media work is usually pretty messy and fast-paced, so there are always papers everywhere and someone is always in a hurry. We spend a lot of time talking to journalists and trying to figure out how to get a story across. It’s not like what you see in the movies. There is a lot of waiting around and following up on emails that never seem to get answered. The 10th Cross is a decent street, though finding parking can be a nightmare if you arrive after ten in the morning. We have seen shops come and go on Chord Road, but we’ve managed to stay put. The team is just a group of regular people who happen to know a lot about how the press works. We don’t have a fancy mission statement on the wall. We just show up, do the tasks assigned for the day, and hope the traffic isn't too bad on the way home. It gets dark early in the winter, and the streetlights are a bit dim, but we're used to it.
