Venol Enterprises

Venol Enterprises sits right at 360/2/2, across from the Government ITI College in the Udyom Bagh Industrial Estate. Being near the college means there are always students walking past, especially during the lunch hour when the tea stalls get crowded. This part of the industrial estate has a lot of noise from the nearby workshops, and you can usually hear the sound of machines or trucks backing up into the narrow lanes. Our spot is pretty straightforward. We open the heavy shutters in the morning and the smell of the industrial area comes right in. It’s a mix of oil and dust, but you get used to it after a few years. The office inside is small but it holds everything we need to keep the records straight. We spend a lot of time on the floor or checking the stock that comes in through the main gate. It gets hot in the afternoons, so the ceiling fans are always working hard. We don't have much in the way of decoration, just some old calendars and a few chairs for when someone drops by to talk business. It is a busy place because of where it is located, and we are usually too caught up in the daily tasks to worry about much else. The traffic on the road outside can be a headache, but being in Udyom Bagh means we are close to everyone else we need to see during the week. We just keep our heads down and get the work finished before heading home in the dark.
