Pga Earth Movers

Pga Earth Movers is set up in Shivaji Nagar, right near the Kle Cbse School. It’s an interesting spot because you have the heavy machinery side of things happening right near a school zone. In the mornings, we have to be really careful with the equipment because of all the parents dropping their kids off. The office is pretty modest. We have some old filing cabinets and a couple of chairs that have seen better days. Dealing with earth moving means our boots are usually covered in mud, so the floor in the office is never really clean no matter how much we sweep it. We spend most of our time talking to site managers or checking on the maintenance of our backhoes and loaders. Shivaji Nagar is a good neighborhood, and being near the school gives us a bit of a landmark for people to find us. It’s not a high-tech operation. We still write a lot of things down in paper logs and keep our keys on a big board behind the desk. Sometimes the school bell rings and we realize how late the day has gotten. We just focus on getting the machines to where they need to be and making sure the jobs get done. It’s a lot of physical work and logistics, but we’ve been doing it this way for years. It’s just our little corner of the city where we keep things moving.
