L & T Construction

Down at 684-521, Yargatti, you will find our L & T Construction site. This isn't an office with air conditioning or soft chairs. It is a yard with gravel and heavy equipment. We have a small shed where we keep the tools and the daily logs. The ground is often uneven and rocky. We spend our days out in the sun or the rain, depending on what the sky is doing. Most of us have been working in construction for a very long time. We know the way the soil moves here in Yargatti. L & T Construction is just the name on our shirts. Our real work is the actual building and moving of heavy materials. We have some large trucks that come in and out of the gate at 684-521. It can get pretty noisy when the engines are idling in the morning. We eat our lunch sitting on the back of the pickup trucks. It is a hard life, but we like being outside. We do not use big words or fancy talk. We just focus on the task at hand. The yard gets messy with scrap and dirt, but we clear it out every Friday afternoon. It is an honest way to spend the day. We have been at this location for a while now, and we know everyone on the road. It is just what we do.
