G. V. Engineers

Our workshop at G. V. Engineers is located at Plot No. 31/A, S.No. 336/1 in Udyambag, which is a place that feels like it never really sleeps. There is always the sound of a compressor running somewhere nearby or the clank of metal being moved around. Our space is not huge, but we have managed to fit all the equipment we need into it over the years. We spend a lot of time bent over workbenches, looking through magnifying glasses or adjusting settings on the machines. It is quiet work in some ways, even with all the background noise of the industrial area. We do not have a big fancy sign out front, just the one that has been there since we moved in. Sometimes the power goes out for an hour or two, and we all just sit outside on the steps and talk until it comes back on. It is a bit of a tight squeeze when we get a big shipment of raw material in, and we have to shuffle things around to make room for it. We do not have a human resources department or a fancy computer system to track every second. We just know what needs to get done by the end of the week and we work together to make sure it happens. Udyambag has been a good home for us, and we know most of the other shop owners on this road. We are just regular people trying to do a good job.
