Our place, Master Precision, is over at Sy. No. 7/2 in Gajanan Nagar, right behind the KEB sub-station in Udyambag. It's not a big corporate setup, just a local shop where we get things done. The area is usually busy with other workshops, so there's always some noise and activity. Inside, the floor is often covered in metal shavings and the air smells like machine oil. We've a few lathes and milling machines that've been with us for a long time. They aren't the newest models, but they work fine if you know how to handle them. Most days involve looking at a drawing and trying to figure out the best way to cut the steel. We don't have a fancy office for meetings or anything like that. If a customer comes by, we usually just talk on the shop floor near the workbench. My hands are usually stained with grease by mid-morning, which is just how it is in this line of work. We don't spend money on advertising or shiny signs. People in Udyambag know where we are. Sometimes the power goes out because of the sub-station nearby, and we just sit outside and wait for it to come back. It's a simple life, focused on the measurements and the tools. We just try to get the pieces right so they fit where they're supposed to. It's hard work, but we're used to it.
