Shrijeesangle Greentech Farmer Producer Company Limited

We’re over at Machindra Sangle's place in Shirurghat. That’s in the Kaij area of Beed. Shrijeesangle Greentech is a group of us farmers working together. We don’t have a separate office building. We just use the space we have at the post office area. It’s a lot of sitting around and discussing the crops. Sometimes we meet under the big tree outside when it’s too hot indoors. Everyone here knows Machindra. He’s the one who gets us organized. Being a farmer producer company means we all have a say in what happens. It’s not always easy to get everyone to agree. We deal with the soil and the water issues that come up in Beed. It’s a tough region sometimes. We share what we know about greentech stuff, but in a way that makes sense for our small plots. There isn’t much fancy equipment. We mostly use what we’ve got. If you visit, you’ll probably get offered a cup of tea while we talk. We don't have brochures or shiny posters. We just have our experience and our hands. It's a quiet village life for the most part. We try to help each other out when the harvest comes. That's really all there is to it. No big corporate dreams here, just neighbors trying to make the most of the land. We keep moving forward, one season at a time, hoping for rain and decent prices.
