Greenberg Agro Food Producer Company is located out in Borisawargaon, which is part of the Kaij taluka in Beed district. We’ve been operating from here for a bit now. Being in Maharashtra, specifically in this part of Beed, means we are right in the middle of the farming action. We deal with food products and agro-related work every day. It’s not a fancy office, just a practical space where we can meet and talk about crops and prices. The roads can be a bit rough getting here, but we are used to it. We work with a lot of local growers to see what’s coming out of the fields. Sometimes we’re dealing with grains, other times it’s different produce. We don’t have a massive marketing team or anything like that. It’s just a few of us trying to make sure the food gets from the farm to the next step in the chain. We keep our records in order and try to stay ahead of the weather. People in the village know us as the Greenberg team. We spend a lot of time on our feet or sitting on the porch talking to guys who’ve been farming for decades. It’s a steady pace of life. We like being based in Borisawargaon because it keeps us close to the source of everything we handle. It's a lot of back and forth with the farmers, but that's what makes the job interesting. We don't mind the dust or the heat. It’s just how it is in Beed. We'll be here for the long haul, working through the seasons as they come.
