Tirupati Stone Industries

Tirupati Stone Industries is at Plot No. H-40 in the Riico Industrial Area. Being in an industrial zone means we are surrounded by other businesses, but we mostly keep to ourselves. We focus on stone cutting and processing. The yard is full of different types of slabs and blocks waiting to be worked on. It’s a noisy environment with the saws running all day. We wear our boots and gear because it gets messy with all the water and stone slurry. Our shop isn't much to look at, just a sturdy shed and some heavy lifting equipment. We’ve been operating out of this plot for several years. The team we have is small but they know their way around the cutters. We get orders from builders and contractors who are looking for specific sizes. Sometimes the stone has natural flaws, and we have to figure out how to cut around them. It’s a bit like a puzzle. We don't have a website or any big advertisements. Most of our work comes from people who have heard about us through others in the industrial area. The paperwork gets done on a small desk in the corner of the shed. It is a straightforward business without any bells or whistles. We just focus on the stone and the daily schedule of cutting. We like the finished look of a well-cut piece of rock.
