Stone Door Frames

We've been at Subhash Chowk for quite a while now. You can find us right near Hanuman Mandir here in Bharatpur. It started as a small idea because people around here needed sturdy door frames that wouldn't rot or get ruined by bugs. Wood is okay but stone lasts forever and that's why we focus on it. Most days you'll see us busy handling the heavy slabs. It’s hard work, dusty too, but someone has to do it. We get people coming in from all over the district asking about different sizes. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that. It’s just our yard and the tools we use to get the job done. Sometimes we are a bit slow answering the phone if we're out back moving stuff. If you walk past the temple, you’ll hear the sound of the cutters going. We just try to make things that stay strong in your house. It’s a local business through and through. Nothing too complicated about it. We know the neighbors and the local builders quite well. If you need something for your new house or a renovation, we usually have a few pieces ready to look at. Living and working in Bharatpur has its own pace. We just keep at it day by day, making sure the stone is cut right.
