Sananda Beauty Parlour

Sananda Beauty Parlour. I’ve been running this place at 16, Udayan Pally for quite a while now. We are right by the Sahidbedir More area in Kolkata. It’s a busy spot, but the shop is where things slow down a bit. People from the neighborhood come by for their regular stuff. Sometimes it gets crowded on weekends, and we just try to keep up with everyone waiting. It’s not a big fancy place, just a simple room with mirrors and the tools we need. I started this because I wanted to work for myself and I knew a bit about hair and skin. Living in the 700056 area, you get to know everyone. You see the same faces every month. Sometimes we talk about the news or just what’s happening on the street while I work. It’s hard work being on your feet all day, but it’s what we do. The chairs are comfortable enough, and we keep the place clean as much as possible between customers. We don’t really do big advertisements or anything like that. Most folks just see the sign when they walk past the more. It’s just a normal part of life here in Udayan Pally. I try to keep the prices fair so people can come back whenever they need a trim or some threading. That’s pretty much how it goes here every day from morning until we close up at night.
