Beai Saloon

Beai Saloon is situated over in Natagarh, right on C R Road. This part of Kolkata is a bit different from the main city center, and our shop reflects that. It is a small, honest place where we have been working for a long time. The walls have a few old posters, and the chairs have seen better days, but they are comfortable enough. We don't have fancy air conditioning or anything like that, just a couple of fans that hum all day long. People from the surrounding streets in Natagarh come here because they know what to expect. It is a place where you can just sit down and not worry about being in a rush. We handle the usual haircuts and shaves that everyone needs. Sometimes the tea man comes by and we take a quick break, but mostly we are at the chairs. The floor is usually covered in some amount of hair because we stay busy. We don't use any complicated equipment. It is just the basics. C R Road can get a bit loud with the bikes passing, but inside it feels like a regular neighborhood hangout. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to provide a steady place for the local men to get cleaned up. It is a practical business run by people who live right here in the area. We try to keep the shop open on time every morning.
