New Sananda Ladies Beauty Parlour

Being near the Uco Bank on Rifle Range Road makes it easy for people to find us. We are at 2/2, Rifle Range Road, right in that busy pocket of Kolkata. The shop has been here for a good while. It's a ladies-only place, and we do everything from simple hair trims to wedding makeup if someone asks. Most days it’s just regular stuff, like waxing or cleaning up eyebrows. The room isn't huge, but we have enough space for a few people to sit and wait. We have some posters on the wall showing different hairstyles, though most people just want the same thing every time. The bank next door always has people coming and going, so the street is lively. Sometimes people come in to wait for their turn at the bank and end up getting a facial. The afternoon sun hits the front door, so we keep the curtains pulled most of the time. It stays a bit cooler that way. I usually have the radio playing some old songs in the background. It makes the time go by faster when things are slow. We know most of the people around here by name now. It’s a friendly neighborhood, and we like being a part of it. No one is in a huge rush, which is nice. We just try to get the work done right and keep everyone happy with how they look.
