Cico Technologies Ltd

Our place is over at 87/1 Udaipur Road in Kolkata. We are Cico Technologies Ltd, and this is where we handle our local operations. Udaipur Road can get pretty crowded, so there is always the sound of horns and people outside. Our office isn't anything special to look at, just a regular door in a row of buildings. Inside, it’s usually busy with someone typing or looking through a catalog. We work with construction chemicals, so there’s always talk about waterproofing and concrete. It’s a lot of technical stuff, but we try to keep things simple. The walls are a bit yellowed and we have a lot of boxes stacked in the back room. We don't spend money on fancy decorations because we’d rather just do the work. It gets quite humid here, especially in the monsoon, so we just try to stay cool and keep the documents dry. We are a small team and we’ve known each other for a long time. There is no corporate ladder here, just a group of people trying to make sure the customers get what they ordered. We close up around six and head into the Kolkata traffic. It’s a basic life, but it suits us. We’ve been at this address for years and we don't plan on moving anywhere else anytime soon. It is what it is, just a job we do.
