De Paul School is situated on the Main Road, about 45 kilometers away from Bareilly. It is a bit of a drive to get out here, so the school feels a little more separated from the big city rush. Being right on the main road means we see all the trucks and buses passing by all day long. The building itself is sturdy and has been here for a while, serving the families who live in the smaller towns and rural areas nearby. We do not have any of that shiny city style. It is just a place with classrooms, a small office, and a bit of space for the kids to run around during their breaks. The staff usually arrives on the same bus or they come in on their scooters from the nearby villages. We start the day by checking the water tanks and making sure the classrooms are ready for the morning. It can get quite dusty because of the road, so there is a lot of cleaning to do every single morning. We do not really use any big words to describe what we do here. We just teach the lessons, watch over the students, and make sure everything is locked up tight before we head home in the evening. It is a quiet kind of life out here, away from the noise of Bareilly, even if the road stays busy. We just do our part for the local community and keep things moving.
