Shri Gulab Rai Montessori Sr Secondary School

You’ll find Shri Gulab Rai Montessori on Nainital Road in Bareilly. It’s an old part of the city and the road is usually full of traffic going towards the hills. We have a pretty large campus here, but it’s an older style of building. It feels lived-in, if you know what I mean. There are marks on the walls and the wooden desks have seen better days, but they still work fine. We teach a lot of kids from primary age all the way up to senior secondary. It’s a lot to manage, but we’ve been doing it for years. The teachers here are mostly locals who have been with us for a long time. We don't really use much technology; we mostly stick to books and explaining things on the board. The mornings are always a rush with scooters and rickshaws dropping off students at the gate. It gets loud and a bit messy, but that’s just how school life is. We have a small area for sports and the kids make the most of it during their breaks. We don't have fancy uniform requirements or expensive fees. It’s just a place for the community. We spend our days grading papers and making sure everyone follows the rules. It’s steady work. We see the kids grow up from little ones to young adults before they leave us to find jobs or go to college. It’s just a normal part of life here on Nainital Road.
