St Paul Convent School

Out here in Defence Colony, things are a bit quieter than the main parts of Bareilly. St Paul Convent School sits tucked away in Izatnagar, and most people around here know where we are. The school isn't some big corporate building; it’s more like a local landmark that’s been part of the neighborhood for years. In the mornings, you see parents dropping their kids off on scooters or just walking them to the gate. The sun hits the front of the school early, and the watchman is usually there waving people in. Inside, the hallways are narrow and the walls have some scuffs from years of kids running past with their bags. We have a few trees in the yard that provide some shade when it gets really sunny in the afternoons. The classrooms are simple with wooden benches and old-fashioned fans. The teachers here have been around a long time, so they know most of the families in Izatnagar quite well. It’s a busy place during the week, especially when the final bell goes off at 2:00 PM and everyone rushes out at once. You can hear the chatter of the kids all the way down the street for a good twenty minutes. It’s just a regular school where we try to keep things moving and make sure the students have what they need for their classes without making a big deal out of it or using fancy words.
