You can find us in the R.K Tiwari Building along the Pilibhit Bypass in Bareilly. The bypass is always humming with trucks and buses, so there’s a constant background noise that we’ve all just learned to ignore. Our school takes up a good portion of the building, and we’ve tried to make the most of the space we have. The rooms are basic, with just the necessary desks and chairs for the students. Every morning, we have to deal with the dust that blows in from the main road, so we spend a lot of time with brooms and rags. It’s a very practical, no-frills kind of place. We don’t have a big reception area or fancy decorations; it’s just a place where learning happens. Dealing with the traffic during pick-up and drop-off is probably the hardest part of our day. The staff is a small group, and we all know the names of the kids and their parents. It’s a very personal way to run a school, and we prefer it that way. Sometimes the water pump acts up or a window gets stuck, and we just handle it ourselves. Bareilly is a busy city, and we’re just doing our part to keep this little corner of it running smoothly. We focus on the daily tasks and making sure the students are safe and have their books ready for the next lesson.
