Ultratech Cement Limited

Our place is located out in Babuisol, near Bakternagar in the Burdwan district of West Bengal. It is a bit of a trek to get out here if you are not from around the area, but we have been at this spot for some time now. The pin code is 713321. It is a quiet enough area compared to the big cities, which makes the workday a little more manageable. We handle the cement side of things from this office. It is basically just a group of us sitting at desks, making phone calls, and dealing with the logistical side of moving heavy bags of cement across the region. The roads out here can be a bit rough sometimes, especially when the monsoon hits, but we manage to stay on schedule. Most days are pretty much the same. We drink some tea, sort out the delivery schedules, and talk to the guys at the sites. It is honest work. The building itself is not anything to write home about, just a functional space that works for us. We know the local people around Bakternagar pretty well. Being part of the Burdwan landscape means we see a lot of rural development happening nearby. We are just glad to be the ones providing the materials for all that building. It is a simple setup we have here, nothing fancy or overly corporate. Just a bunch of guys working hard.
