We've been here in Gopinathpur for a while now, right near Durgapur. It’s a quiet spot, really. We share the space over at Lt Gunen Chatterjee’s place. Most days, it’s just us handling the usual cement work and making sure things get where they need to go. Durgapur is busy, but out here in the village, life moves a bit slower. People around here know us as Lafarge India Pvt Ltd, though we don't make a big fuss about the name. We just focus on the day-to-day tasks. Sometimes the weather makes the roads a bit tricky, especially during the monsoon, but we manage. We aren't some giant fancy office with glass walls. It’s just a practical setup. We handle a lot of paperwork and coordinate with drivers. It gets dusty, but that's part of the job when you're dealing with building materials. You'll find us easily enough if you ask around the village near the post office. We’ve seen the area change a bit over the years, more trucks on the road now than there used to be. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing. There isn't much more to say really. If you're looking for us, we are right there in Gopinathpur. We don't have a big sign or anything, just a regular place where work happens. It’s a local operation, keeping things moving for the builders around this part of West Bengal.
