Our address is 5/31 Sepco Town Ship in Durgapur, out in the Burdwan district. Being in a township is quite different from being in the big city. It’s a bit more spread out and there’s a sense of community here among the workers and their families. We represent Lafarge India Private Limited from this specific location. The office isn’t huge, but it fits our needs perfectly. We have a few rooms where we handle all the logistics and local administration. The pace here can be a little slower than Kolkata, but the work is just as important. We often see the same faces every day, which is nice. Outside, there’s a bit more green than you’d find in the city, though it’s still an industrial area at heart. We have our routines—the morning check-ins, the midday break, and the afternoon push to finish the logs. The building itself is practical and built for function over form. We keep it clean, but it's definitely a workspace, not a showroom. Sometimes the heat in West Bengal gets quite heavy, and we all just sit near the fans and keep the water bottles full. It’s a simple existence, focused on the day-to-day operations and making sure nothing gets missed. We’ve been part of the Sepco Township landscape for a while now, and we’re quite settled into our daily rhythms here.
