A. S. Enterprise

You can find A. S. Enterprise right near the Madhayamgram Rail Station. Being that close to the tracks means we hear the trains coming and going all day long. It’s a constant rhythm that we’ve grown to appreciate. Our shop is in the Madhayamgram area, and it’s a very local kind of place. We get a lot of people stopping in while they are on their way to catch a train or just after they’ve gotten off one. It makes for a very fast-paced environment at certain times of the day. The building itself is quite old, and we’ve had to fix the roof a couple of times. We don’t have a big corporate team; it’s just a few of us who know the neighborhood well. We keep our stock on simple metal shelves, and sometimes things get a bit disorganized when we’re busy. We don’t spend money on fancy advertisements because most people just see us as they walk to the station. We’ve known some of the commuters for years, and we see their kids grow up. It’s a tight-knit community here. The road outside can get muddy when it rains, and we have to put out mats to keep the floor clean. It’s a lot of work to keep a small enterprise running, but we like being right in the heart of things. We just try to stay honest and keep the doors open for everyone.
