Swarnendu Saha

Swarnendu Saha is based over here in Madhyamgram. The area is called Nandankanan. It’s out in the 700130 zip code part of Kolkata. We’ve been operating from this spot for a while. It’s not right in the middle of the city noise, which is nice sometimes, but it still gets busy enough. The building is simple and it serves our needs. We don’t have a big team or a lot of complicated systems. It’s mostly just making sure the work is finished on time. The weather in Kolkata can be a bit much in the summer, so we usually keep the fans running all day. People in Nandankanan are mostly families and local workers. You see the same faces at the tea stall around the corner. We don’t spend much time on decorations or making things look polished. We care more about just getting the tasks handled. It’s a bit cramped inside when we have a lot of stuff going on, but we manage. Some days the internet is slow and we have to wait it out. That’s just how it goes here. We aren't trying to be the biggest place in town. We just want to do our bit and go home at the end of the shift. It’s a straightforward way to run things. Most of our neighbors know us by now. We’ve been here long enough that the address feels like home.
