Our group is called Sri Panchapandavula Farmers Producer Company Limited and you can find us at 5-112 Anjaneyaswami Gudi Veedhi in R. Yerrampalem. We are right there on the temple street, so it is easy enough to find if you are looking for us. We are just a bunch of local farmers who decided that working as one big group was better than trying to fight the markets alone. It gets pretty dusty and hot out here, but that is just how it goes when you are working the land. We spend a lot of time talking about the crops and how the weather is changing. Sometimes we meet at the office to figure out who needs what for their fields. It is not like those big companies in the cities. We know everyone by their first name because we have lived in R. Yerrampalem our whole lives. When the harvest is ready, everyone is tired and the days are long, but we just keep at it. We deal with the seeds and the bags and getting everything moved to where it needs to go. It is practical work, nothing too complicated. We just wanted to have a way to make sure our families are taken care of from the farming. If you are walking down the Gudi Veedhi, you might see some of us sitting outside talking about the rain or the price of grain. That is just how we do things here.
