You’ll find us at 6-44/A in Tulasi Nagar, which is over in Kavurivaripalem. We are Chirala Vegetable Producer Company Limited. As you can guess from the name, we spend our time around vegetables. Chirala is known for its climate and the stuff that grows here. Our office is tucked away in a residential area, so it stays pretty calm. We don't have a lot of walk-in traffic from strangers, mostly just the farmers we work with every day. The morning starts very early for us because that’s when the produce is moving. By the time most people are having breakfast, we’ve already been working for hours. The office has a few old tables and a bunch of plastic chairs. We keep it simple because there is no need for anything more. We talk about prices, quantities, and who is growing what this season. It isn't a glamorous job. There is a lot of dirt on the floor sometimes and the smell of fresh greens is always around. We don't have any fancy mission statements. We just want to make sure the vegetables get from the field to where they need to go without too much trouble. Sometimes the logistics get messy, but we figure it out as we go. It’s a small team here, and we all know our roles. We just get on with it and try to keep things moving.
