Etheru Farmer Producer Company Limited

We are based over here at D.No 2-93/1 in Etheru. It’s a quiet spot in the Bapatla area of Guntur. A few of us got together because we wanted to do something with the farms around here. It wasn't really a big plan at first, just mostly local people trying to figure out how to handle the crops better. The weather gets pretty hot in Guntur during the summer months, so that keeps us busy with the irrigation and making sure everything stays green. We spend most of our time at the office or out in the fields near the 522310 zip code area. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit much, but we manage. People stop by quite often just to chat or ask about what we are doing with the seeds this season. It is not a huge operation with fancy glass walls or anything like that. We just have our basic setup and a few desks. We keep track of what the different farmers in the group are growing and try to stay organized. It’s a lot of manual work and checking on the piles of harvest. There is always someone around the place if you come by during the day. We’ve lived here a long time, so we know most of the neighbors and the land pretty well. It’s just how things are done in this part of the village. We’re just regular folks working the land.
