The Peddakurapadu Women Farmer Producer Company Limited is right in the middle of things at 2-45, Konda Bazar. Being in Patibandlapedakurapadu means we are close to the action. It is mostly women here running the show. We get together to sort the produce and figure out where it needs to go. Konda Bazar is always a bit noisy, but we like being near the market. It makes it easier to see what people are buying. We don't have any fancy uniforms or a polished office. Our space is functional, filled with bags, scales, and some old ledgers. We spend a lot of time discussing the quality of the grains or whatever we have that week. Sometimes the work is physically hard, moving heavy sacks around, but we manage. We’ve all been farming in this area for years, so we know the soil pretty well. It’s a good way to stay connected and make sure the women farmers around here get a fair deal. We don't use big words or marketing talk. We just talk about what’s real—the rain, the seeds, and the prices. If you come by the bazaar, you’ll see us working or taking a tea break. It’s a simple operation, run by people who know what it’s like to work the land every single day. We keep it moving. No matter how hot it gets, we still show up to get the job finished correctly.
