Utopia Agor-Chem Pvt. Ltd is based at I/6 in the Shivani Apartments in Ambawadi. It is not a typical office building; it is more of a residential block where a few of us have set up shop. This makes the atmosphere a bit more relaxed than a cold business park. We work with agro-chemicals, which means we spend a lot of time talking to farmers and suppliers about what they need for their crops. The office itself is quite small. We have a couple of computers, a printer that sometimes jams, and a lot of binders full of data. We are not a big team, so we all end up doing a bit of everything, from answering the door to checking the inventory. Ambawadi is a nice place to work because there are some trees around and it is not as loud as the city center. We usually have our lunch together and talk about regular things like the weather or the local news. We do not have a mission statement on the wall or anything like that. We just want to make sure the orders are correct and that people get what they asked for. It is a very grounded way to spend the day, and we like the simplicity of it. No one is trying to impress anyone here. We just do the daily chores and handle the paperwork.
