We are located on the fifth floor of the Lakshmi Narayan Complex, right across from Mount Carmel College on Palace Road. Lake Chemicals Pvt Ltd has been based here in the Annipura area for some time. Being on the fifth floor gives us a bit of a view, but mostly we are focused on what is happening inside the office. We deal with various chemical trades, mostly focusing on bulk ingredients and specialty items for manufacturing. The area around the college is always lively, with lots of students and traffic, so there is never a dull moment. We have a small team here that handles the paperwork and coordination for all our shipments. It is not a flashy place; we have desks, some filing cabinets, and a lot of samples scattered around. We spend our days talking to manufacturers and making sure the logistics for our customers are sorted out. It is a lot of coordination, especially when shipments are coming from far away. We do not have a big marketing department, just real people trying to make the business work. Sometimes the elevator in the complex acts up, but we just take it in stride. We have been around long enough to know how to handle the ups and downs of the chemical market. It is a steady job and we like the community we have built over the years right here on Palace Road. We just keep things moving along.
