Sakhi Chemtech is situated at Wagholi, specifically over at Reality Ware Housing on the Pune Nagar Road. If you’ve ever driven that stretch of road, you know the traffic can be a real headache, especially during the peak hours when the trucks are all lined up. We are at Gat Number 53, occupying space 2323/1. It’s mostly a warehouse setup here, so there is a lot of coming and going with goods. We handle various chemical products, which means we have to be pretty careful about how things are stacked and moved around. The warehouse floor is huge and stays relatively cool even when it’s hot outside, which is nice. We spend a lot of our time checking manifests and making sure the labels match the drums and containers. It’s a lot of physical work, moving things with the pallet jack and trying to keep the aisles clear so nobody trips. The office is just a partitioned-off section with a couple of desks and a phone that rings more often than we'd like. We don't really do walk-in retail, so it's mostly about coordinating with drivers and making sure the inventory counts are right at the end of the day. Sometimes the tea guy comes around, and that’s usually the highlight of the afternoon when we take a quick break before the next truck arrives. It's a busy routine but it keeps the day moving along quickly.
