Piyara Singh & Sons

We’ve been here at Raghavendra Nilaya for quite some time now. If you go down 3rd Cross on Igda Road, right behind the Junior College in Varthur, you’ll find us. It’s a quiet enough spot most days, though the college being right there means there’s usually some noise in the afternoons. Our name is Piyara Singh & Sons, and it’s been a family thing for as long as I can remember. We just handle the day-to-day stuff that comes with running a business in Bangalore. It’s not a huge operation, just a few of us working out of this space. We do a bit of everything, honestly. It’s one of those places where you walk in and it looks like a lot is going on because it usually is. We spend most of our hours dealing with paperwork, talking to people who drop by, and just keeping the lights on. The building is okay, nothing special, but it works for what we need. Sometimes we get people coming in looking for the college and they end up at our door by mistake. It’s funny how that happens. We’ve seen Varthur change quite a bit over the years, with more buildings popping up everywhere. But we’re still here in the same spot, just doing what we do. It’s a living, and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. Not much more to say than that, we just keep working and trying to stay organized as things keep moving forward.
