Kpltg Farmers Producer Company Limited is based out of Hampapura Village. We are at 49/5, which is in the Kengeri Hobli area of Bangalore South Taluk. Being a farmers' producer company, it makes sense for us to be out here rather than in the middle of the city. It’s a bit of a drive to get to us, but the air is better and we are closer to the actual fields. Our office is pretty basic. We’ve got some chairs, a few desks, and usually a lot of farmer members coming in and out to discuss their produce. It’s a collective effort, really. We spend a lot of time talking about prices, weather, and how to get things to market. Kengeri has changed a lot lately, but our corner of Hampapura still feels a bit more traditional. We don't have any fancy signs or big glass windows. It’s just a functional space where we get the work done. Some days the internet is slow and we just have to wait it out, but that’s life in the village. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a polished image. We just want to make sure the farmers get what they need and the company stays afloat. It’s honest work and we do it from this little spot in Bangalore South. We don't need much more than a roof and some good neighbors to keep going.
