You can find Jas Machine Tools over in Gayathri Nagar at number 18 1. It’s a workshop environment so it’s rarely quiet around here. There is always the sound of metal being worked or machines running in the background. My hands are usually covered in some kind of oil or grease by noon. We started small and we’ve stayed in this neighborhood because it feels like home. The space is filled with lathes, drills, and various bits of hardware scattered across the benches. It might look disorganized to an outsider but there is a system to the chaos. We don’t have a fancy front desk or a receptionist. If someone walks in, one of us just wipes our hands on a rag and goes over to see what they need. Most of our tools have been with us for years and we know their quirks. Gayathri Nagar is a good place to be located because there are other shops nearby if we need a specific part or some advice. We don't bother with fancy slogans. We just fix what's broken or make what's been ordered. The lighting isn't the best in the back of the shop but we get the work done regardless. It’s a gritty job and the hours are often long but there’s a certain satisfaction in seeing a finished part ready to go. That is just how we do things here every single day without much fuss.
